The hospital staff in emergency once told me that on full moons they are full of patients more than any other time.

I have no effect from a full moon that I have noticed but I believe the moon surely does affect people.

I agree, stock up on comfort foods, watch happy movies and have a plan of action to self soothe yourself. It is just a suggestion. I wish you the very best with this.

Funnily enough, we staff actually have a thread specific to full moon dates, because lots of crazy shit occurs here at such periods, every full moon, so we're all aware of when they occur as a result.

I think because our bodies are made up of so much water, and the moon governs the tides and effects them, that it's kinda the same for us and if you are not feeling that balanced at a full moon to start with, or are a bit unstable it may exacerbate things. I've read that the police and people who work in mental hospitals all over the place have also said that they get a lot more incoming patients and people acting nutty on a full moon, so there has to be something to it. Maybe one day science will work it out more...

I actually installed a moon calendar app on my phone now, so I am alerted when the moon enters its first quarter :P When I am aware of the fact that there is a full moon, it has less of a grip on me...

Yer, that's just the normal Christmas and New Year period BS we put up with here, due mainly to people being highly symptomatic normally due to not spending time with family, typically due to family being the cause of abuse. Symptoms go up... they unleash their ranting here... then wonder why they got suspended from here as a result.
