I am not producing a lot of words right now.

I was invited to a small gathering of people, children. Something triggered me, massively. Back home depression sets in, Anxiety. I am doing grounding, music, trying to process.

How do you investigate those moments? Are you able to peel off analytical explanations ( Not saying they are not useful) To detect that very feeling which leaves you in a very fragil state?
 
I'm very bad at not over thinking, though I will suggest that trying to think and analyze when the mind is swimming is challenging and , for me, confusing. IT sounds like you are doing the right thing, grounding, caring for yourself. WHen emotions are high, getting to the root can be tricky as the body doesn't want to go there, its overhwlemed. SO perhaps go slow and gentle on finding the root of it. FInd some safety, then when you feel ready, peak in at what feelings are under the fear, what sensations, or what images stand out the most. But stay safe.
I'm really sorry you got so triggered.
