It went well but I felt like I didn’t do my best bc my brain fog was super bad. They bought me coffee though and after that I was much much better!

I'm pleased they got you a cup of coffee - they obviously wanted to spend some time with you so that's nice as well as hopeful?

How did you go answering the questions you were most anxious about - the gap in formal employment for instance?

When you you find out if they are going to hire you for the internship?

@blackemerald1 the interview lasted almost 45 minutes! They didn’t ask me about a gap in employment which is awesome, because my pet sitting business counted as employment to them. I do work anywhere from 15-30 hours a week on that! The only question that really threw me was group collaboration. I had an example from my last school but completely blanked on it. But I did get by. I admitted database entry isn’t my strong suit which may have been a bad idea but I did tell them I even had a class to make it better and got an A in it. One thing they asked me is about a time I had to persevere through something difficult. I had a hundred things to say but went with the story about my hip and physical issues and they were super impressed with me pushing past the pain I have to still accomplish so much.
They said by tomorrow I should know!

It sounds like you did extremely well indeed!! I'm so excited for you... I have my fingers and toes crossed.

You are amazing being so proactive about your health and sustaining yourself - I hope you know this :hug:

If you do not get this job - it will not be about you. It will be just the amount of applicants and the statistical inevitability of applying for jobs. But let's keep hoping till we know for sure!! :)

I got the internship ???

This is the first time I’ve gotten an internship or job and felt like I deserved it too! And I feel like I’m capable to do it too (right now at least)! So big progress!

@blackemerald1 i start In January! They’re going to send me everything over next week for payroll etc. I also have to make sure my clients are covered. I’ll be working max 3 days a week. I’m worried about my pain but bought some more CBD oil on sale to help with the pain! As well I have POTS idk if I put that on this thread but they already told me I’m free to move about and however they can accommodate me they will. I’ll just have to get lots of salt!!

Yes.. get prepared! I don't know a lot about POTS but I do know as in all disorders, management is key.
