A very mild med that might help you sleep and rid you of the nightmares is Doxepin. It's tricyclic and it's in the VA formulary and cheap so they will be more likely to prescribe. It also helps with heartburn and depression.

I just had my VA appointment with the Psyc doc today. He wanted to boost my Paxil and add prazosin for the sleep and nightmares. Hope something starts to work.

50MG of Trazodone isn't doing the trick for me anymore.

My wife take the Trazodone. She says it knocks he out. Apparently the other pill wires her up. I would have to get off my ass and look. Maybe later.

For sure, yea I think this Venlafaxine is like a form of speed or some shit. Some times I'll take it get slightly drowsy, which it's not supposed to do but next thing I know I'm moving. Just gotta find the right deal to put me to sleep I suppose.
