I meant phobias attached with ptsd. Khione seems to be having the same kind of issue.

No offense but I don't think that would work for me. I'm on of those people that would break down crying on the floor and hugging my knees with my eyes tightly shut. I can't embrace fears, I've had phobias and fears ever since being young, not related to PTSD, and I can't get over them (things like being afraid of the dark) so I don't think facing my fears related to PTSD, especially because they're ten times worse and my phobias, would help..

@ Joshua, she might "seem" to be having the same issue but there are 2 key points as to why we can't make that determination. Point #1 is we have no prior history that precedes this event. We know nothing about past traumas, family history of mental illness, drug or alcohol use (not saying there is any) or anything about her life. Point #2 is I have not seen Ma, LMHC, Ba, PHD, or Cap behind anyones name here.

@Khlone if these "events" are interfering with your life find help.

My fears aren't phobias. I also had help from a therapist but stopped about a month ago because I hated it and hated her. My boyfriend is encouraging me to go to the doctors and talk to them but I'm hesitant due to the bad care I recieved from the mental health services they offered previously. But I am still seeking help, someway. Hence being on this site.

It's taken me a while to get the right therapist... I don't know your financial situation or how limited services are where you live but in my experience and from what I've seen the right therapist is out there. As far as not liking the therapist thats understandable. I am at this moment upset with my therapist and will address the issue with her today but she is great and I am totally safe with her.

I hope you can find someone you can work with and this site is such an important part of my recovery.
