Excellent, thank you! It is straight forward and clear.The article would be tempered if it quoted research, that gave examples of what sufferers can do, in order to thrive-to the best of their abilities, with this diagnosis.

Yes, there is nothing in there about the treatments but I think it is not written for that goal at all. Some people deny that various types of abuse 'should' even affect kids or adults though...

True. Probably multi-faceted...but some picture of what recovery would be or look like...then it doesn't read as all truly depressing. Agree with @greenleaf that maybe the goal was just describing what the various effects are, what the struggle is like. But it would be nice to have a bit included on prognosis and help. I think that's that part we don't actually know very well yet. I'm personally trying a multi-faceted route but failing in areas of relationship struggles because I'm exhausted and physically isolated. Focusing on the physical health and pain stuff, learning how to take care of my most basic needs I guess.
