I'm sorry to hear about the change in rules and wish all the vets, all the best.
Supporters(if any get to read this). Please find the combat ptsd supporters group on facebook if you would like to stay in touch with the other supporters from here(supporters only) If need be find me on facebook..Sue Boardman-McInally and as long as you can identify yourself on there with your screen name from here I will admit you as a friend and add you to the group that way.I wish all, vets and supporters the very best for the future and I am DEVASTATED that this forum will no longer be there to help me to help my vet at a point where he is too fragile to come here himself yet!

To the Veterans here,
THANK YOU for heping me through the darkest point in my life. My Veteran and I both thank you as something most likely would have happened to one or both of us had the tools learned here not been available. Thank you for opening up and sharing what you know and have learned and feel, to help others. I'll miss your insight, humor, dark humor, support and encouragement. Keep up the good fight against the PTSD monster.

To the Harpies,
A huge THANK YOU to you as well. To know that I am not alone has been immensley helpful. I was in a very dark place and you pulled me out of it. Your support and humor and love has been amazing. I might have to open a facebook account now and I really don't want to do that, but you are worth it. Thank you thank you thank you.

Good luck to you all. If you read Anthony's post he said he was transferring your section over to the PTSD Forum.
And he will be giving you time to get peoples emails etc.

I feel like a big bad ogre here, but it what it is.

Both Anthony and Nicolette are both on the other forum and will willingly answer any question you have on Combat PTSD.

Once again, I wish you all the best and thanks for your input and your humor

Hello - As a Vet myself who was not involved in any combat, but was also a supporter I guess I too must give my goodbye's . I have learned alot here - I was member on the other site, but did not learn a thing till I came here.

I have made some wonderful and hopefully lasting friendships - and you know who you are. I loved the insight from both perspectives and feel like Im losing a bit of my family at this point. I truly did appreciate hearing the straight truth rather than all the fluff - yes Im a girl - but a Marine thru and true and can take it like the rest of them !

SO thank you to everyone for helping me through my darkest and questionable times - thank you for lifting me up and helping me get to where I am now - Happy :D I hope that I will be able to pass on the wisdom and inspirations you'all have given to me on to others. - plus I hope that my humor here and there did in some small way bring a smile to each and every one of you .

But as they say all good things must come to an end.

Goodbye from Sunny California - Ooh- Rah !

Like Sue would like to extend a hearty Welcome to my Facebook page as well. We do have a "club" of sorts for posts related to PTSD that is totally private so that only friends that are included in the club can post and read posts.

I realize that we could and probably will use the other PTSD forum, but like Red Headed Stranger says, our hearts are already damaged enough, the last thing we need to be is exposed to other people's trauma that has nothing to do with our Combat Veteran.

My Facebook profile is: http://www.facebook.com/#!/profile.php?id=714437791 and my name is Stephanie Fredrickson.

Good Luck everyone!

I am sad too as I have learned a lot on here from the brutal honesty and amazing friendships of all of the vets and carers. My BF and I have grown so close and are now on a really good path. The things I learned on here and the perspective I gained from the vets allowed me to understand my BF and endure the tough time we had earlier this year. We have a happy ending and we are both very excited about our future together. I will miss all of you and hope only for the best for each one of you. Take care everyone!!

I'll miss you guys a lot. It's been great knowing you. Big thanks for sharing in the ups and downs. Farewell!!!
Time to migrate to PSTD Forum now. :(
We'll get ourselves together though :)
Respect to you all RG xx

PTSD Forum has "always" supported supporters from any type of trauma. It is veterans who have never done well on that forum, because military are military and they don't tolerate emotional talk and such as easily as civilians with trauma. Supporters where always supported and catered on that forum. It has a significant supporter section, extremely busy actually, and also a private area for supporters only that nobody else can access.

Military supporters are not going to be given their own area, the area already exists there, and in much more detail than here.

When an importer from Xenforo becomes available to import data from an XF database to an XF database, then I will import the supporter forum from here, into PTSD Forum, then integrate its content with the existing forum structure... ie. move the threads into the existing forum topics.

Supporters have always been catered... they just weren't catered here with the veteran for the exact reasons that has led to its revert... the veterans end up leaving because they no longer feel they have a place to vent and discuss with people who just get them... being the military language.

PTSD Forum has far better facilities for supporters now, especially with the new live video chat facility installed...

As stated in the announcement thread, supporters should log out of this forum, so that when viewing it to read, you are not banned by showing as a logged in member, as that is what will occur if I see supporter usernames logged into this forum.
