News Gop V. Obama 2012

Poll after Poll is showing the Obama is getting strong ahead of the 2012 elections, but with Mitt Romney (kinda winning his home state by 3% last night) and placing a strong 1st in Arizona will the GOP finally rally behind Romeny now or will Ron Paul, Newt, and Rick Santorum keep the GOP locked in a tight battle until the convention what are your thoughts?

Well, I would think that if you are a woman you might want to think long and hard about who's fighting for your rights. At this late date and all the employee rights slipping away, women still don't quite make over that 70 cents to the dollar. I'm sure women are consider people too.

I'm completely frustrated with the GOP, and not very happy with Obama, either. I suspect Obama will take the election since the GOP cannot seem to get their act together.

From an outsider's perspective...all the GOP candidates are scary, not least because of their views on women/women's issues and given that our current' gov't here looks up to the GOP, it really scares me that they might try to copy let's say Rick Santorum...Not only that but it seems there might have been massive fraud in our general election (that took place last year)...Anyway, Obama isn't perfect but he's still the best man for the job.

I used to consider myself strongly republican. Now I'm so disillusioned about the whole process, I simply consider myself human. I don't give a crap who wins as I know the whole system is corrupt and self serving totally forgetting the people whom they were elected to represent. Election promises are rarely kept.

Government today is about serving thier own interests by being in bed with large corporations. When a single company is worth more than several countries combined, somethin is wrong. When a single company can earn in a day more than several countries combined, something is wrong. To me it's not about the companies making that much money, it's about the political clout they have. What they say or do can effect economies of entire regions. Something is wrong.

Sorry if I'm so negative. I've had promise after promise (often written as law, only to be changed later) broken to me by the government as a military vet.

Since I was old enough to vote it's felt like choosing the lesser of two evils. I'm flat out sick of choosing any evil period. I want to have a voice and thus I vote, but more and more I'm wondering why? At least that way I can help keep things from getting worse, right? I'm no longer sure. Bar is right. The system is irrevocably corrupt. It's broken and I am beginning to believe it's beyond repair. I will vote this election, but I will be wishing I didn't have to the entire time. Where is the hope and rejuvenation we're being promised every four years? I have yet to see anything but power hungry, self serving, agenda wielding politicians. I'm very cynical about the matter, I know. But it's a sad day when the only choices a citizen is given are the choices the citizen knows will mean surrendering more of their rights in one way or another.

I've lived through the men telling me I need the permission of my estrange husband to tell me in order to get my tubes tied in order to prevent further pregnancies. At the time he was living with another OLDER woman, his boss, while I was living with two young babies, one very ill - him not paying child support and I was trying to be responsible thinking of not my children but of my children; and yet (!!!!!) I still needed a man's approval to get this procure done! Call me radical, call me paranoid, call me what ever the hell you like but I've lived it and that's after having the right to choose to have make the decision to have my 2nd child even though I knew the chances were slim I would be able to care for both.

Where does does anyone, let a man get off telling a women whom he is not connected with, or a women for that matter what decision to make with her life on such a very very important issue as this and ridicule her for it. "Slut, prostitute" really???? What's that make a man????

The contraception issue is a side issue to distract from the economy. Obama can't run on his record, since the CBO scored the new healtcare mandate as costing almost double over 10 years what the projection was... $1.76 Trillion I think.

I have not voted in 10 years but I'm going to vote in this election. I don't really like any of the canidates but our country will not survive 4 more years of Obama. The day China stops buying our debt is the day the US changes forever and I for one would like my children's children to grow up free.

The GOP is a joke. This is the best they could come up with? I think Obama will win the election because theGOP is simply too scary.
