Heart Melting Moments

When I was nursing my daughter and she would stop and look at me and smile and pat me.

Thank you for that memory, gizmo. That is my heart melting moment, the last time I saw my son before he was kidnapped, I was sitting on the couch, nursing him. It's still hard to visualize a full grown man when my last memory of him was at 2 weeks old. I loved how he would look up into my eyes, and nuzzle.

Amethist Thanks for sharing your special moments and starting this beautiful thread.

My biggest heart melting moment was Christmas day last year. Princess and I both asked each other to marry at the exact same time. A moment I will never ever forget.

Our eldest daughter is adopted and initially she called me by my first name, then by 'Fuzzy' lmao. When she called me 'daddy' for the first time it melted my heart. :)

Whenever my sons, who are now teens, sit down next to me to just talk. It doesn't have to be about anything major. They just check to see how I'm doing and fill me in on how they are. It warms my heart.

When we were very young, my sister and I took baths together and I had to wash between her toes. :barefoot: She would squirm, giggle :giggle:, kick, and laugh :laugh: ....and it's just one of the best memories of childhood that I have.

As a matter of fact, me and my sis playing together as young children are the best memories of my childhood.:happy: It warms my heart when I think about these times and I feel very blessed to have a baby sister to love and care for!!!:inlove::inlove::inlove:

This Thanksgiving, I had two. One was my great nephew, 2, was listening to me talk to him(he's a little shy) and I managed to get a smile out of him. The other was when I asked his brother for a hug and he gave me one. I asked the two year old but he left the room when I bent down to give him one.
