Can anybody tell me if this works for most of the symptoms such as depression?
Today i was literally tired all day like worn out but then again i was crying for most of the day which usually tires me out. but it's the same every day w/ and w/o crying.

Does anybody take this?

Do not take anything herbal for cortisol levels...
If your cortisol levels are out of whack then you need a full set of hpa axis testing to establish why.
Do not mess around with quack cure for endocrine issues it needs investigating fully as many hormonal issues have the potential to become life threatening.
High cortisol can be a pre indicator that someone is heading for adrenal collapse....

I second wife of. She is very correct on this matter.

If you would like to give your body support, the B vitamins are good for stress. And, a good multi vitamin can't hurt.
Also, good nutrition and avoiding junk food is a good place to start if you are feeling like garbage.

Off to take my vitamins!

Megan, I am a Naturopath/Herbalist/Nutritionist. I just had a look at the products and the main herb it uses is Magnolia which I have found immensely useful for myself. The other ingredients are mainly minerals and other tonifying herbs. I would say go ahead and try this product. Herbs are way safer than pharmaceutical drugs. Just check if you are taking any other medications on their information sheet under interactions and make sure they dont list any of the ingredients on this product. That said I am taking sleeping medication and I have mixed it up with very many herbs and supplements without any problems. The main medication to cause serious side effects is the MAOI's. I have been researching and trying various herbs over the last two years and I have had some great results over that time.

Herbs, minerals, and vitamins CAN be helpful, but I'm no expert.

Personally, I avoid taking these "concoctions" as a) you never know what's really helping you and b) you'll never know what ingredient you're reacting to if, say, you have a bad reaction.

This is why I don't take multivitamins, and most b-complexes.

It took a LONG time before I realized that I can't take copper as it's agitating (read, NO soy, and NO chocolate...turns out it's the copper in chocolate that has me on edge, not the caffeine!), as are high levels of B vitamins (so I warn you to be wary of b-complexes that have upwards of 10,000% of the RDA).

But this is just me, and everyone is different.

If you can't afford to see a nutritionist or herbalist, do your research. Things that I've found helpful FOR ME and my anxiety are magnesium, zinc, and normal levels of b vitamins. I also have herbal tinctures to use for anxiety and insomnia. I love them 'cuz you can tailor your dose down to a single drop, something that's impossible to do with pills.
