Was I the only one who caught he deployed to Iraq in 04 and the Stan in 2010? Both, he claimed, as a "sham shield" (E4)....loooong time as an E-4 with two "combat" deployments.

I wondered about that. Then I realized that he was NG/Reserve component. They are only allowed so many NCO's. When I went into the reserves I was busted from sergeant to corporal. But paid as E5. So I guess it's possible to have that long of a time in grade.

He was kind enough to give full name. You can do a little data mining if you need to. Even call him up;).
