Just a quick update thank you for all your kind words and support. I have my parents who I am close to and tell everything too. I practice CBT on myself so I say to myself 'what's the worst that can happen' and all that Jazz.

There's something in us called 'hope' and we are all doing brilliantly. Better things are destined for me than being stuck in an anxiety rut.

Hello and welcome. Glad to hear you have a support network. Being able to talk to someone, especially when you are feeling suicidal is a very good thing. It has been a very long time since I have had to deal with the NHS, so I'm afraid I can't give you any advice that way. If you have not already, I recommend looking at some of the literature available on this site. Lots of very good information there.
 
What KXW is referring to is more along the lines of IFST (inter family systems therapy) where you get in touch with all of your inner parts and find out what they need and then respond accordingly.
