Hi guys I just wanted to say hello. I've been a member for a few days and you wouldn't believe how better I feel just knowing there are people out there going through the same thing. I had a scary experience where I thought I was choking myself in my sleep. I posted it to a form and I was so overwhelmed at the supportive and helpful comments and replies.
In ireland I find, that there is still a taboo around the mention of mental health. I've leaned to become more honest with others and with myself and saying what is going on for me. I'm proud to say I've been seeing my therapist again and making very good progress.
I've dedicated time to myself and to the things I enjoy and prioritise my own mental health and well-being over work stress.
Hope ye all get the positive experience here that I have had the last few days.

Onwards and upwards.
