Ned, no, I haven't. I haven't had any answers, hence, the thread. There was effort by two individuals, only. Never had any issues, while in combat, or out. Yes, you and your friends, are indeed attempting to bully me, by flooding this thread with useless posts, that have nothing to do, with the thread, in the hopes that Anthony will close this one too. Hey, Dan. I live in the largest community in the area, with CBOC that doesn't provide behavioral health services, even though it is listed as having such, and less than an hour from a community that has a CBOC, with behavioral health services, that I cannot get an appointment to. According to the person responsible for scheduling the appointments, she "just doesn't want to make that appointment". The patient advocate for this area, that doesn't work in this area, refuses to assist, as I should magically fly two hundred miles, to wait several months, to be seen at a VAMC. The patient advocate, for the next CBOC, lives and works in this area, but refuses to assist in any form. That includes answering questions on the phone. It isn't simply a matter of where I live, as, there aren't many communities with two VA facilities, so close. It is a matter of not being able to receive services, through the VA, simply because I can't get appointments. I qualify for these services, and am under VA treatment, that I have been instructed to continue. I'm just not receiving any assistance from the VA. I've asked for some information, or help, in another thread, but a group of individuals, with nothing better to do, than defraud the VA, and ignore the rules of the forum, chose to attack me, fail, and force the site owner to close the thread, just when one intelligent person had posted some links that could help. Imagine, I may be somewhat frustrated. Thanks for the response.

Where do we as combat vets, go to find someone who understands what we are dealing with, and would be willing to listen, or help?

Hear me out here Bob. Is it possible that you come across as a pretentious prick to all these individuals and that is why no one wants to stick thier neck out for you? For example comments such as;

could be viewed as slightly aggressive. I know if you were talking to me like that I'd be a bit miffed. Perhaps looking at your own behaviour toward the people trying to help you might aid in getting a more positive result. No sense scaring the help away after all.

Here's the 411, again. Get an advocate, like the DAV. You can contact them online and do everything you need to over the phone. They will help you, I think I've said this. They will help you.

Decide what you need from the VA and go after it. They aren't coming to you. I've dealt with them for 44 years, that's 44 years. No one, I mean no one can tell me what they're like. But I do know this; they are what they are and they have what we need. GO GET IT DONE!

Aren't close, drive, take a train, fly. Don't have a car, rent one. Don't have money, hitch hike, run, walk, crawl. Get on with it. Decide what you want your life to be and make it that way. You just don't seem to want to take any advice that you've been given. Stop being so damn defensive. You came here and asked and people here helped. You don't want that, OK. But don't attack people and think that works. It doesn't. We all have the same problems here, no one is exempt, not even you. No ones problems are better or worse they're just problems.

If you called the DAV or some other vets org and told them you needed a ride to the VA you'd have dozens, dozens of vets calling you to arrange that. SOLDIER, PULL YOURSELF UP BY YOUR BOOTSTAPS AND MOVE FORWARD. You're either the guy that got things done or the one that stood in line at sickbay everyday. Your decision.
