Relationship Help. My Husband Has Ptsd

Hi. I need help. My husband got diagnosed with ptsd about 6 months ago. He in the Royal Navy.

About 10 weeks ago he informed me he was seeing someone based where he based. Since then each time he been home to see the kids he finished with her and wanted me back.

Then when he going back up to base he say he doesn't want me. I started looking into a divorce as he back with her since he been up there. And he say he doesn't want one as u don't know what tomorrow will bring.

He say's that he doesn't know what he wants. But he say he happy when he with her but sometimes he think he doesn't want to be with her, or by his self or with me or someone else. He made the choice of getting back with her knowing it end are marriage.

He said the doc he seeing in the navy has signed him off another 3 months and said he not in the right mind to sign divorce paper.

Help I don't know what to make of it all.

I think ,that PTSD or not, he is being very unfair and selfish. He has no right to treat you like that. You are not his doormat and PTSD is no excuse. I would suggest that you contact a lawyer, because it seems like he had already decided to be without you the moment he decided to be with someone else. I am sorry if I seem harsh.

He's playing you like a fiddle and using PTSD as an excuse. Cheating has nothing to do with PTSD. If he is going to be with her, I hope you get out as soon as possible. You deserve better.
