Help, Terrified Of Dental Treatment

Can you ask him to put in high cheekbones?

(A friend of mine had to have bone transplanted to her jaw because of damage and she couldn't chew food... the Dr. did an amazing job, and she ended up with a dental procedure that unexpectedly made her as gorgeous as a model.)

Wow, for you to have to go through this... the truck driver who smashed into you should have to be in the chair right next to you, going through the exact same procedures; or better yet, anyone who gives you any difficulty about insurance, pension, etc...

I'm so sorry you have to go through all of this, Hon...

Wow... Kath, I just read about the sinus lift (don't have the courage to watch it)... amazing that it can be done...
They say to be super careful about not sneezing. You're going to have super solid implants after this!

I would need to have this done, if I decided on an implant... I fractured a molar from stress grinding, and so much jaw was broken in a complicated extraction that they would have to add bone.

You've got courage, girlfriend!!!
((((((((((((((Kath))))))))))))))

Linking arms!!!

I am prepared

. I have put some new music on my iPod (after fighting with the technology that is iTunes

) and put the next 2 parts of my audio book as well.

I will sign the consent and do my questionnaire for T.

I will sign off soon and do my planned night of relaxation and hopefully will be able to sleep.

He is only doing one side and it would take a lot more work than that, quite a lot more

But thanks for the thought.

I hope you're sleeping peacefully, tonight, beloved ((((((((((Kath)))))))))))))...

I'm praying for you, and am thinking of you, Sweetheart!
I hope all goes better and easier than expected, tomorrow, and your healing is phenomenal.
Even if you don't feel that way, I think you are incredibly courageous!
I love you and my heart aches for you, and I'm with you... linking arms...

All my love,
Deer

KP,
I have a suggestion but you might not like it.
Next time maybe your GP can give you a tranquiliser to take just before dentist visit.
My GP has done this for me. It just relaxes you.

Thanks Brontie, I do have an emergency supply of diazepam but try to avoid them. On dentist days I usually have to drive myself, so couldn't take them.
Good idea though

((((Kath))))

On dentist days, why do you drive yourself? Maybe you could get some help and support and...be able to take anything that works to help you through?

:>

Guess I'm just a stubborn old beggar :p. It has worked out that H has been away for the major stuff. I could use community transport, but I'm a bit (a lot) nervous with drivers I don't know. Plus my 2 best friends have moved away recently (no it wasn't because of me). And I suppose at the end I hate asking for help.

I think it is the old ' I can cope with anything'.

I did do it though, with long distance support
