She gave me the ultimate kick in the arse. Nothing else would have worked, so she called in the state and let me get on with it. I owe her my life.

Yeah I know what you mean about being the strong one. There is a video in the media section here on the site called "You are not in the army now". The guy in it is an Aussie Nam vet, turned Psycholigist (Memory working agian, I`m gonna get a headache soon).

Gives you a heads up as to why we are like we are. After I watched it a couple of times and let it all sink in, I showed it to the misses and then to my nipper, he is 12. They sat there like "Ahh, OK that makes sense, Ahh, thats why you do that"

Take a look, and maybe think about showing it to the misses. If she knows you are in a bad way, she maybe able to help you with the beast. If she doesn`t know you will need to think about telling her or not, realy hard. We have all pushed love ones away through not talking to them, some were strong enough to stand by us, some run a mile never to be seen again.

You just never know.

Dont want to hijack his thread but i have been, lets say "Cold Turkey" for a month or so. Got off some of the heavier meds(My choice) but been replaced with others cos i just couldnt cope if im honest. Got some other pain meds and patches for the wounds. Trying/starting to study again(doing a Masters in Web Design and Developing) for when i get discharged earlier next year. Bit hectic but you all know that already, thats life.

My Family now calls me Special :cool:​

Told the head doc I don't want med's, been there before, plus on enough shite for my back.
Have enquirer to OU about a course I want, and waiting for ed centre to let me know about funding.
