I actually got a restraining order, when our son was only a few months old. After that I didn't hear from my abuser for over two years. Not a word, a call, an email, nothing. It was great. I thought about him often, I met a very nice man who my son calls daddy, and my fiance wants to adopt him once we are married; But then two months ago is when my abuser contacted me again. (The DVPO is over now)
I believe he is somewhere in TX (I'm in NC), and child support enforcement is no help in finding him even though they forced me to coroperate with them or I would loose my insurance. He has told me things like "You look good brunette" (I just went from blonde to brunette!) He has even sent me huge arrangements of flowers, and my name isn't even on the lease here, nor do I have any bills coming here. I am not sure how he knows so much.
