Hi Everyone! I am Court I have made a couple pot and replied to a few but felt I should introduce myself.

I am a mother of 3 ages 12,10,7. I am an army wife and have been married 13 years together 16. We have been a military family 11 1/2 years. I love being a stay at home mom and wife. Currently we are on our second deployment and I thought things were pretty good.

My husband was diagnosed a week before deployment with mild PTSD ad has become even worse after 3 months o being gone. He has a job that I can't even tell you what he does cause I have no clue it's all classified and I know from meetings it's not fun stuff.

He had recently said he is quitting the marriage and with me distancing myself he has seemed to change his mind and need me and our children. Very confusing and a total roller coaster ride especially being so far apart and still have a ways to go before he returns.

I am educating myself in all ways possible and have found so much love and support on this forum it has truly been a god send for me. I also am seeking therapy through a chaplain. I had a horrific childhood but have been thru counseling for those things on my own and had great success on finding my normal. I do have anxiety issues but have them under control with meds as needed.

I am sorry for such a long intro just felt comfortable enough to keep typing. I hope to meet other spouses of combat vets with PTSD to possibly become friends with as I am lonely and want to know how to deal and others experiences.

I wish everyone a wonderful evening and thank each and every one of you who have shared stories, experiences and helpful information on here. I hope all of you know what a great relief I get from visiting a few times a day!

Thanks,
Court
