How are you taking care of your mental health during this global pandemic times?

I think this period will end up being one of the best I've had to go through. Sometimes I'm suicidal, but I'm really starting to rethink a lot of things. And since I'm unemployed, I'm taking the time to detox from my last job, but also to consider what I might actually *want* to do when I can return to work.

I really, really need(ed) some down time to regroup.

Oh, and I've started to do some work in therapy that I think is probably the hardest but the most important I've done.
 
I was starting to get shell shocked. Completely dissociated, spending all of my time in bed that I could. I got one of my permaculture newsletters that said "STOP WATCHING THE NEWS!" Duh. It suggested gardening instead, which I normally do, but I'm in disarray since we were going to sell plants and I started a huge amount. I gave some away, and some died, as they do, but I need to concentrate on planting what we will eat. I'll give the others away. Our town is looking post-apocalyptic, and it really disturbs me. If I lived 150 years ago, I wouldn't know about the flu. I'm taking precautions, and I want to commune with my land again.

I sold so many chicks, roosters and chickens in 2 days that I have nothing left to sell. I put the money back into eggs, but people keep texting me wanting to be on a list. I can't predict how many of what kind will hatch, so I won't do a list. They also text me for other farm animals, which I don't have. Yikes!
 
I take a walk on occasion and do some photography. Play with my cats. Do small things around the house - I have so much to do I get overwhelmed and, although I started some of the big stuff, I have trouble following through.
