How Did You Sleep Last Night?

I seem to do all my sleeping from around 4am to around noon? I'm slipping back to my winter routine of not getting up till late, as I can't do anything outside due the the cold weather.

I don't want to that, as I was getting up much earlier so that I could make the best of the day in the summer weather, but somehow I'm slipping backwards?

I've tried going to bed earlier, but I just can't get to sleep, no matter how tired I feel, and I don't want to take too many of them knock out pills, well I'm only allowed 7 of them a month anyway.
 
I generally don't sleep well but I've been having bad dreams lately, which is rarely the case so I'm a bit freaked out :/ And I've been playing meditation audio before going to bed/when I wake up. I'm frustrated.
 
Long, drawn out narrative nightmare. First I was a nun, part of a group of nuns who had been paid to smuggle something into a wild and desolate country where we would be killed if discovered. Then it turned out we were smuggling the corpse of the former king, who had left coded instructions to his successor, who was in hiding in catacombs... then there was a tomb robber segment... then we helped him put on armour and confront his nobles, who shot him full of arrows and tried to wash him down a sewer. Then I had to help save him by going on a boat trip in an unsafe rubber raft thing that kept trying to sink... then there were rapids... everyone got sick... I was dragging this rubber raft through hip deep mud to reach a river to float and find help... then we ended up in a modern diner with no money and I was trying to make a deal to keep us from starving to death...

it just went on and on and all of it was scary and everything seemed so full of tension. I woke up in a fog.
