How Did You Sleep Last Night?

I am working on sleep hygiene. I am taking my medication much earlier these days and that is helping. I am also putting myself earlier so that I can soothe myself, and quieten down the fear of rape. I also remember to do more positive things to assist my sleep if I go to bed earlier. This is a big change for me. I know with time it will normalise.

"The Promise of Sleep" by William Dement is an interesting book to read. One to google is "Sleep Hygiene". I found that useful as well.

Any solutions that anyone has come up with I am open to hearing them.

One thing that I want to achieve is a nighttime Mindfulness routine. Even just 15 minutes per night.

It was one of those nights where the brain wouldn't shut down, so I did toss and turn.

Sometimes these nights are beneficial as I do get a lot of thinking done and problems solved, but I sure do lag the next day. Oh well, I guess that is when I need to hear those thoughts to figure things out that I haven't been able to during the day!
 
Woke at 2am and 4am but not with panic attacks! So I am making progress! I was able to settle myself back down and get up at 4.30am for half an hour of Mindfulness Body Scan! I AM MAKING PROGRESS!

I have worked so hard on this. I now go to bed much, much earlier, and I have a totally different routine.
