Hi Scout. We are two peas. I'm the same way. This is the pointiest pair I have, and one pair of these is enough. Where I come from NO one wears boots, so I wear what I want. I don't like square toes either :) Wear what you want - just because it is trendy doesn't mean you have to conform, and just because you like something doesn't mean you can't wear it. Get over what other people think! :) Really. It's a battle I've fought all my life, and fortunately one that I'm winning!
