How Do You Answer The Disability Question?

Ona positive note I received an email today asking for me to login and complete the supplemental questionnaire. I am not going to make too much out of that but I am taking it as a positive sign.

Even though I have a couple I always mark 'no'. Discrimination isn't always noticeable.

PTSD is a mental illness, and is an invisible disability. If the illness impairs your work to where you need possible accommodations now or potentially in the future - then yes you have a disability. When answering the question do recognize it is better to check off 'prefer not to disclose' compared to saying yes or no if you are unclear about your impairment or haven't officially been diagnosed.

@OrganicRobot I have been formally diagnosed but I have not disclosed to my current employer. I have another chronic condition that my PCP writes my fmla paperwork I don't even allow my T or my Pdoc to disclose my diagnosis with my PCP but the job I was applying for may be stressful enough it may cause me to disclose if I get it
