Mulling over all my options is making my head spin.

How much would it cost to hire a body guard?:p

A body guard is brilliant!!!! Just what you need for the both of you. He could deal with your obnoxious land lord as well.

The crazy lady probably gets her rent, or most of it paid by the State. Easy money for the landlord, it covers his mortgage and she's not going anywhere. He knew how she would react in regards to the washer & air conditioner. He has to know she's a loon. I hope you are able to get out. And a word of caution. Unless you were given paperwork stating what bank your deposit is in. I'd wonder if he was the type to find a reason not to return it.

My therapist said to do the same thing. So last time I saw her I told her about recent events. How I completely ignored psycho on second floor when she started screaming at me about kids slamming door.

My therapist said she was sorry she didn't clarify that she meant ignore as in say ,"OK" and then walk away, letting it go.

She said the kind of ignoring I was doing was the equivalent of giving the finger.

So from her perspective I unknowingly made it worse because I misunderstood what she meant

Yes going no contact and ignoring is the best way to deal with them. it is hard but it works very well. It does not stop their craziness but it gives you some breathing room. This is what I am doing with my own kid.

@Heather No 2 therapist are alike. Mine used to tell me to completely ignore and not engage at all. Yes, it does piss the other person off, and they will probably up the ante, but if you keep on ignoring their behavior then they finally get the hint that they can't "get to you".

My option on saying "ok". Is taking responsibility for something that I didn't do. It would be ok, if I did it, but if I didn't, then there is no way in hell I would admit to something I haven't done.

You need to do what's good for you though. I'm kind of a scrapper, and I don't take shit from people and I stand up for myself. Too many yrs of being beaten as a kid, made me into an adult that takes no shit!!!!!

Landlord gave me permission to put a lock on back porch door so they can't steal anymore of myself.

I'm having heart palpitations just thinking about what to do next...grrrr

Wow. So much can change in a 24 hour period.

I have made a decision I'm 100% comfortable with. We are gonna stay with my mom. I have bed coming tomorrow and hopefully next Wednesday I will be able to move Nicole's trampoline, her bed, patio set and dryer.

T.v. will be good to go on Tuesday.

I will send landlord certified letter stating that end of lease is July 31 st and I will NOT be renewing.

I put on my front door a sticky that said: stop stealing my stuff!

I got my door decorations back. Then I put second sticky saying : now give me back my pillow and laundry detergent!

It'll take a little while to get upstairs put together but when I get my mind made up, things go quickly.

@Rain I realize what you said is 100% correct its not letting them win its about doing what's right for me and Nikki. This feels right. I'm at peace with this. Thank you for being there for me!
