How do you keep your hair? (men and women)

I'm curious how many of you dye your hair? Who likes theirs with its natural color, even gray?

Also, is there any particular reason that you keep it the way you do?
Interesting topic.

I dyed my hair only once back in 2003 and had an allergic reaction to the supposedly non-allergic dye. Yikes! My face turned bright red around the edges near my hairline where the dye-soaked cotton had been.

I used to perm my hair and it was down to just above shoulders. I started perming it back in 1980 and stopped in 2004/5 when a hairdresser suggested going natural.

I've learned to accept my mousy brown hair with super light silver highlights. It's super easy to take care of and is wash and wear.

I cut my own hair and keep it just below my ear lobes. The reason I cut my own hair is that last hair dresser I had refused to cut my hair the way I wanted it done. I envisioned one look and she wouldn't do it, saying I wouldn't like it. As a matter of fact, I love it! It was the same hair dresser who suggested a short cut without a perm. She was right about that part. It was a great cut and I've maintained my own hair since 2006 when I moved from the hair dresser's area and most importantly, wanted to save money. Though the professional cutting shears were a huge expenditure initially, I love styling my own hair.

I've had red, blue, purple, brown and black hair, and just had it in a short layered cut. When my PTSD got worse, I didn't want strangers touching me so I have waist length light brown hair. I have a lot of grey, so I use blond dye to cover the gray, and it gives me great highlights. I'm waiting until all my hair is silver, then I will stop coloring it.

I'm naturally dark, dark mahogany brown, but with under tones of red. So I took a deep breath, terrified my hairdresser and bleached the lot to go a fiery natural redhead. LOVING IT.
Completely suits me, and I found a color depositing hair masque from Revlon that maintains the red.
Getting my roots touched up next weekend and taking it right to the roots with a slightly smoked cooler red base but being redhead is completely my thing.
My hair hasn't minded it at all, I maintain it with a masque as part of my self care routine and since I've got freckles, green/grey/blue eyes and fair skin, I'm just helping my genetics along :D:D:D:D
