General How Well Do You Sleep, As A Supporter

My sleep patterns are awful at the moment - it's as if my brain wont switch off and it's starting to worry me a bit now - what if it never switches off again! I find that I'm lying in bed with my eyes wide open thinking about things, I tell myself to shut my eyes and go to sleep and there I am 10 minutes later - eyes wide open and mind racing!

I'm with you Toria. I managed "a straight seven" last night (!!!) Hurray, and then went back to bed for another two or so. I am a person who needs a lot of sleep - eight hours at least, and under stress/exhaustion more like ten. So this is minimal for me, though I know it would be A LOT for most people here.

I'm taking melatonin at night, using progesterone creme (I've got "estrogen dominance" which screws up your sleep) and I've started using lavender and geranium oil at night too. It seems to be helping....

Stress screws up you endocrine systems.

Oh Eleanor - a fellow sleep-monster!!!! That's what Husband calls me :) I could sleep for England if it were an Olympic sport - well I could have done a few weeks ago anyway!

This started one night when I decided to stay awake one night so I wouldn't disturb Husband with my tossing and turning as he'd been poorly. The next night I was shattered - but still stayed awake. I'm not sure what I did, but I now can't stop it :(

Come pay day I shall be investing in some oils - I have a lavender pillow spray but that doesn't cut the mustard anymore...

Tonight I am not going to bed until I am really tired.

I made the mistake last night of going up and watching TV for a while, as hubby wanted the company while he went to sleep.

Normally this is fine, but last night he could not settle, was restless for ages, so I decide to turn the TV off and go to sleep. Good idea I thought, but hubby was still restless and I had to get back up in the end.

Today he is shattered as he did not sleep well at all, waking up, being restless, and then he had the cheek to say I was the one that was restless. :roflmao:

Mallet coming out tonight. :devilish:

I dont have problems getting to sleep sometimes my S/O has his legs on me or he wants to lay on me but im a pretty hard sleeper the only thing that messes that up is him waking me up every morning at 7ishhh i always feel like i didnt get enough sleeeppp this morning i was kinda mean to him because i felt so tired i apologizeddd but i still feel horrible lol

Driving, a party that went to very late with a LOUD band outside - Excellent food. Sleep over. A good visit with old friends and a VERY HOT DAY. More driving. Nice dinner. Air conditioning... and I slept for NINE hours straight.

Well. Now I know what it takes!?!:D

I feel a bit like the walking dead at the moment  It's gone the opposite way now - I can get off to sleep ok because I'm so tired but then I wake up in the middle of the night - wide awake! It is driving me crackers! I feel like hell when it's time to get up and because of that work is going to :poop: and I can't keep on to of anything else. Grrrrr....
