I don't like the heat but I guess I probably need to get used to it. Another day and then another day of being in the 90's to 100.

Can't go outside, it is too hot. The other thing we are dealing with is the mosquitoes. Just too much rain recently. It looks like they are going to be spraying for them again tonight...hope it works...:smile:

Sunny and warm-ish. I hope it gets warmer and lasts forever. Unfortunately, this being the Netherlands, it'll probably only last a few days. Oh well.

Rain, rain, rain and more rain.....I am so sick of rain. I NEED sunshine. It was dark, dismal, and cool for the month of June, and so far July is following suit.

The only thing I am grateful for....We haven't had heat into the 90's with 100% humidity, but that's ALL I am grateful for. I am done with this shit weather!!!!!! I feel like root rot is setting in...

Yesterday wall to wall sunshine. With temps up to 29.5 in the shade in our back garden.

Today it is raining a lot.

And i went out without my brolly so my hair looks like rats tails right now lol.

It is 6 degrees tonight and gale force winds are blowing the leaves around in little whirl winds. I am snuggled up in bed watching a chick flick trying to keep warm. Looking forward to sitting in the sun tomorrow.

We had what looked like from a distance a big thunderstorm on its way.

We could see the lightening and just about here the thunder then it seemed to change direction and vanished.

All the build up then nothing it was a bit of a let down realy.

Then native husband came out with this:-

It's been a soggy summer so far in New England. At the moment the sky is overcast but the few patches of blue are allowing the sun to peek out.

Here in S Africa, it's FREEZING! Nights down below 0 C (about 29 F for my American friends). The problem is there's no heat in the houses! Glad to see that they finally put in heaters at the home for AIDS children where I teach
