House inspector visited today to approve my newly built porch. Decided the handrail wasn't sufficient so we need to add a different one. Wish the process was over, but happy that was the only thing he could find to disagree with. I'm also glad I didn't blow it all out of proportion in the grand scheme of things inside my head.

Later we are making steaks and corn on the grill. Haven't ever done that, about time we did! :)

I had a disappointment today and went with the flow of it. With this person I am beginning to understand that he is a flake. So I shook it off. Spending the day home alone today and am ok with that. I have things to do later on.

Emotional friend is dying and won't last more than a few days.

:happy:Good today. Did stuff for myself and having a relaxing day at home. Sitting out in the backyard enjoying the sunshine and blue blue sky. Potting some more plants and changing there soil. Sanding some wood for preparation for paint. Letting the world float by me.

My friend died today and I feel numb.

I am so sorry for your pain of loss, Ms. Spock. I really feel for you. I understand how painful this kind of loss is to you. I am here to support you through the days ahead.

This day has been challenging. I have had lots of negative thoughts and rumination and the childhood feelings are coming up strongly.

The loss of my friend has been a blow.

I did attend an event. I did go food shopping. I must get some weeding done before the sun goes down.

My husband and I are going out to listen to a man play guitar, Tommy Emmanual is his name. Going out of my comfort zone to leave the house, but it will make my husband happy. I'm trying not to feel anxious.
