Britt I understand about going through a bittersweet time in your life. At least you are not dealing with empty nest syndrome. That is really hard.

I am having a great day. Everyone is sleeping in because we got home so late last night. Round two today. I hope we finish it.

Thanks Gizmo. I am hoping to curb this empty nest syndrome before my next son graduates, by finding something I can do with my time and my new role in life.

Trying to figure out what my new role is in my son's life. No longer parent raising a child, he is raised. He is a fine young man. Does he sometimes choose to do things the hard way. Yes. But we'll get there. Or I should say he will.

Have a therapy appointment that my sadness almost made me cancel. But what better time to see her. So I will go. Just have to keep reminding myself what time it is at.

Britt, you are going through a transitional place in your life. Take good care of you, meeting your own needs and wants and do a lot of self care and remember to rest. You have been through so much stress and anxiety. Hugs.

I am having a really good day. Got so much accomplished. I came home and changed into cooler clothes and got two hugs from the little one.

Now I am just relaxing and may take a nap.

@gizmo thanks for the support. My therapist said similar things today. I'm going to learn to cut myself slack one of these days.

I'm a little ticked off, two boys shot my truck window out with BB guns. I'm deciding whether to call the cops, their father said he'd get me another window but he's a derelict and I don't trust him. So I guess tomorrow I'll call and see what happens.

First day in a long time with nothing to do or contemplate. Wondering what to do with my time. Spend a lot of time on line. I need to figure out how to be more active. I guess just do it. My mind is a terrible foe for that.

I made my doctors appointment this morning, called the cops in the afternoon, and confronted the father of the boys who shot out my truck windows.

Today my body requires sleep. So sleep I will. It is all part of my illness. One day a week like this isn't too bad.

Tense, anxious and worried about getting my daughter to the good hospital and how I am going to fit it in with all of the stressful things I have to do about the move.

Daughter has been sleeping all day and the girls just got up so it is better now.
