Let's say for the sake of argument, that you actually worked for this director. That you had been given a project and had failed to complete it in the alloted time. Or to a level of quality befitting the company's standard.
He still wouldn't have had any right to behave like that. The fault in any case, falls on them. If you can be blindsided by failure, you should never have been given a managerial role. If they cannot adequately supervise the people under them, in order to mitigate poor quality work from an employee. This person needs to be looking in for the fault, not out.
They certainly have no right to scream at a contractor. They of course have no right to attack another person verbally. The fact that this person is able to physically assault someone. Is beyond disgusting.
Hope this person goes to prison.
