Here’s one at the city park talking to my daughter.
Here’s one at the city park talking to my daughter.Just wanted to say I totally understand this. My imagination takes me to some places. One time I imagined a past life and a character from that past life was talking to me in a caring way and I cried for like 30 minutes.

Also are you me? I've had almost that exact trail of "imagination exploration" where I was hanging out with a past life partner and it made me cry too! I was laying in bed thinking like "how did I get myself here" lol. Thank you for sharing, it really helps

@goosegoose, I believe there is a setting in your profile that allows you to limit who gets to see your diary...I cruised it when I first joined because I was so freaked out to put my abuse details out there for all the members to see/read. Not sure if I'm 100% correct on that, but thought I would share with if you wanted to go searching for yourself.

I had no idea! I definitely will look through the settings just to get more familiar but I think at this point I'm comfortable sharing, at least online. Do you know if there are any areas or posts I can go to to see forum rules? I'm always so worried about getting banned

The Community Constitution sets out the rules - there aren't very many. And make sure you've read the bright orange Copyright notice that appears above the box where you type a new post.
If you decide you want a Trauma Diary with a higher level of privacy, you can start one in the Trauma Diary (Members) section (or we can shift this one over there), which is only searchable to members.
The Trauma Diaries (Member Private) is even more private - only you and Admin can see your diary if you'd like one that's just for you privately. You can have one diary in each of the diary forums.
And of course, if you ever have any questions about any of that, you can hit us up at Contact Us. Questions often get lost in threads, but we don't miss questions that are sent direct to us!

Amazing how we are able to connect this way! You are the first person I ever told that to, and then to hear that you had a very similar experience is intriguing!
I never met a goose that bit yet @goosegoose , even the ones with babies at the shoreline. They will fly away with a dog though. (But they eat A LOT- EVERYTHING- and therefore poop a lot lol. Look like green cigars sometimes. But then, they are Canada Geese. 
)
I think their honking is so silly sounding it's a natural anti-depressive. I love their V's and try to count the # in them, kind of cool when it's over 100+, and that they never leave a goose to fall out alone. And the palllndrome: 'DO GEESE SEE GOD'?
