I Don't Know What To Do

@Dreamstatic - thanks for checking back in. How's it going? Same, worse, better?

Worse. He thinks my mother (who lives in our downstairs apartment) is out to entrap him and discredit him and talks behind his back all the time to people about how awful he is to live with, so he now stays in the bedroom all day with the door shut. Just about the only time we talk is when he gives me a tirade on how awful his life is and how there's no way out and he won't make it through the winter.

I think he would be open to some kind of counseling that's been proven to work for PTSD like CBT or something like that. I've gone online to try to find somewhere that will do that via Skype or something like that (since nothing is available locally) but haven't had much luck so far. I'm sure I need a therapist myself but with the closest town with a psychologist over an hour drive away and working full time it would be hard.
