I have chronic and complex PTSD that was caused by, among many other traumas, what might be sexual abuse. My problem is, I have a lot of doubts about my memories, and if what happened to me was sexual abuse. The things that happened to me involved me being helpless to stop painful and invasive things being done to my privates.

This forum seems like a great resource for support. I'm not sure that I will be very active here, though. Some experiences are just so obviously sexual abuse.

Invasive things done to your privates absolutely constitutes sexual abuse. ANYTHING done to your privates without your express consent is abuse. I hope you will find some comfort being part of this forum. Everyone is so supportive and I feel so much more normal knowing that others share my experience. FYI I have detailed memory fragments involving household objects so I can empathize with your situation.

I think the more you talk about your experiences the less you would doubt them. I'm new here too. It's hard to share but if we can help each other it is worth it.
