Childhood hit me this morning. I've been a motorhead since I was a little kid. Everything, cars, motorcycles, aircraft. Well, this kid is going to do something tomorrow he's always wanted to do. I'm entering my Healey in the car show. May only get an "honorable mention", if that. The crowds are going to drive me nuts. Feel like I should be wearing a flak vest.

But I'm doing it.

It's an addiction, you know.

Since no invitations to go acquire a few smallish countries followed, kinda figured you were pinching nurses asses instead.

Made it! Got registered and showed the car for about four hours until folks coming up behind me headed for the show was just too much. Got some great comments. Folks took pictures. Had about a half dozen that were true English car nuts like myself. We excitedly talked MGs, Triumphs, Morgans and others. Really enjoyed that.

Didn't stay long enough for the judging but I didn't expect that my car was good enough for a prize. There were other cars way nicer than mine. There was a MGTF that was so immaculate all I could do was just drool. An XK, XKE, even a little Morris Minor.

Great show. Neat experience. And a huge blow to the beast.

Well done at getting out and about Sarg. That is still an issue I have. Getting out and interacting with the public..out in the open has been a rough one for a bunch of us. The thing about it is to keep pushing, keep taking the baby steps. I've been getting out more myself.

We would rather you not do the dying part because then a rather large group of crazy bastards would simultaneously either go into a deep dark long (perhaps years) period of depression...or blow shit up. Maybe both.
