How do I know if I am enabling my complex PTSD wife to remain sedentary? We have been together almost two decades and she was diagnosed about four years ago. She was productive up until about three years ago. Now she won't do anything at all. Am I helping her or hurting US by not having any expectations of her to participate in our marriage? Please advise.

Yes, I too, have to say, your post is quite vague... Some questions:

• Is your wife in a trauma therapy?
• If yes, how often does she go per week?
• If no, why not? (As she can't heal without professional support)
• What exactly does that mean "she was productive"?
  
• What is it, that she doesn't want to do at all?
• What are your specific expectations from her?
• Is this thread really about her not participating in whatever, or is it rather, that you feel being taken advantage of, by her?
