For those of you who do not dissociate this may not make sense to you, but I realize that my 13 year old child-self will come to me when he is ready.

I realized that becoming more alive is allowing more emotions to flood. It is messy, unpredictable and creates see-saws throughout my day. And although, I do not like the chaos, I like being a shadow of my former self...less.
