Sexual Assault I was raped while i was drunk

3 years ago I drank too much at a friend's party and found out that someone had sex with me. I finally told my husband of 7 years and we are not sure how to handle this predicament. I tried to kill myself last year and was place in the hospital for a week. I want to forget this ever happened and feel like I let my husband down.

Therapy is the only way out of this one, in my opinion. Based on how you said it, I am guessing that you were either black out drunk or drugged? I am sorry that you are going through this.

I had the same thing happen just a few years ago at a nightclub with friends, had way to much to drink and was very drunk, one moment I was dancing on the dance floor with some guy, next thing I remember was coming too bent over a toilet with the guy I was dancing with banging away inside of me. I stopped it right then. I was hurt by my friends, because then did not look out for me, and then turned cold on me for allowing it to happen. The fact that I was drunk and unable to consent makes it a RAPE. That would make it my sixth. One is bad enough, I hope there is never a seventh. But I always have the fear there will be given the way this world has gotten more violent and uncaring.
