Ideas For Good Jobs... Outdoors Preferable...

Nursery work, my favorite, actually like it better than the kitchen.
Strenuous, labor intensive and seriously healing...
Best wishes, if you have any questions, I may have answers (I did it for years, miss it!)

Fair warning... I dated a man with a degree in horticulture, and it drove him insane that the only jobs he could get? Were Home Depot, Lowes, etc. & Landscaping... All of which he could have gotten without the degree, and all of which paid minimum wage and utilized exactly none of his skills. There are better horticulture jobs out there, but it's an extremely small community and it requires a lot of luck/networking/specializing in order to land one of them. That... Or the willingness to start your own business (which is what he ended up doing, which got him into the community, which eventually landed him the job he wanted by making contacts at the flower & garden shows, fanciers societies, etc.).

So that's an in-between option for you... Going to school. Which has the added benefit of paying better than minimum wage, if you don't already have your degree.

If you're willing / able / interested in going to school, however? Horticulture is only 1 of a whole lot of potential outdoors & plant related degrees. Forestry / Park Rangers, Environmental Studies, Biology, Tourism & Hospitality (think of the arboretums in grand hotels, and extensive grounds in both private estates or organizations & public), are just some of the ones at my uni that leap out.

Horticultural therapy.
The thing I'm seeking if I can get all those classes retaken that I lost while in f up state..
Maybe you're in a place to look into it?

I'm not able to go back to school right now. And I'm not really interested in it enough to get a degree... I really just want it for the soothing relief it may give me... Together with feeling productive
