The thread is about spirit guides.....no disrespect was ever meant to Native Americans by the starting of this thread. My spirit guide is as real to me as any Native Americans spirt guide to them. We all need protection and support and spirit guides in the form of animals work for some of us. The concept of the guide Is not indigenous to just Native Americans, but respecting the belief is important.

The eagle is seriously grounding when I’m losing it and creates peace within me. I respect the concept of a spirit guide of any type. Again in my case, as I believe for others who have posted here, there is no intent of disrespect. NoWhereNoWhere, if you are Native American, thank you for sharing something so beautiful. If not, thank you for the reminder to be respectful.

You see, but the beginning of the thread was simply appropriative of NA traditions and concept of a few Nations, therefore racist, not a generic concept.

And if it is about spirit protectors, one can term that differently than by something that is, linguistically, a concept and term of a very specific culture(s)... not a generic one. The wording matters. Even more if we are treading sacred grounds of somewhere.

@Ronin please don't use the word racist on this thread-I find the word negative, hateful, and quite frankly, argumentative. The thread was meant to be positive, none of our actions have fit the definition of racism, or this thread to be racist.... check out Webster's definition. Incorrect usage of words can derail a thread. I thought I addressed it..and my intentions of the thread. Others have felt good in responding to the topic...no one has been harmed. The forum topic is spirit guide-what's yours? Tell me more about your spirit guide(s), if that's your thing. If not, thanks for your input!
