If I could I would break free of the current ties that bind. Oh wait, maybe I can? I've tried to break free so many times but I give in, retreat, surrender. One day at a time, one day at a time, I think I can do this.

go back to work but as a psych nurse. I could bring compassion and caring to a field where it seems to be so lacking.

If I could I would figure out what I want to do with my life and believe in it enough to think it attainable.

But first of all, if I could I would sleep for a week. Right now a couple of hours would be a luxury.

If I could I would heal myself and my life once and for all and move on, but PTSD is disabling and won't let me, so I will stay on a healing path for the remainder of my life and make the best of the things that I can!!!
