If You Could Change / Want One Thing On The Forum?

That is a phone problem, not forum. The reply field is a standard form field which will show on any mobile browser, unless that browser can't handle form fields.

I'd also like the ability to change frequency of email notifications, or opt for instant updates.

Notifications are handled already on a per user basis via your preferences. Tick the right preferences to make the appropriate instant or daily alerts or email changes.

A phone app would be cool, but I reckon Anthony has WAAAAAAAYYYY too much on his plate to have to deal with that bullcrap also.

PTSD Forum already has a phone app, called TapaTalk. TapaTalk is a forum app provider, which PTSD Forum uses. Buy the app for a few dollars and then you have specific mobile tailored browsing via app, not browser styling.

I believe there is also a free version, though that only allows you to read, not respond.

Maybe scheduled chat times would help bring more users in to chat at the same time, since we keep missing each other!

Hi Anthony.......been having problems with the phone for a while now, this has affirmed my decision to find a nice deep drain for my phone to sleep in.......:mad:

I usually use my Droid X. The only thing I can't do with it that I can do on the computer is use the emoticons.

Or a 'mushroom cloud'......for all the things that :poop: us off, to which the only reasonable and logical action is to nuke that %^#$er upside the head.

GRAMMAR CORRECTION NOTICES!!! I felt personally attacked, and it was my 1st post, my mind is not working the best on most days, I thought this was a place of non judgement, grammar included! I feel like an idiot most days for getting things wrong all the time that came so easily before, and grammar was one of them that is lost out the window...GRR It might be stupid, but it really makes me worry and self-conscious about posting, what if I get it wrong and get in trouble?? I'm not posting grammar errors on purpose, believe me. I can't even see the errors after re-reading it a million times on the best of days let alone a bad day...

I realize the rules are there to help people understand each other, but some people TRULY can't help it and it's NOT on purpose and are very self conscious about everything to being with so pointing it out is not helping them.

I would not want to change anything. I like it fine just the way it is. It is the safest site I have ever been on. There are not trolls or flamers. It is harmonious. I think this place is just great.

Gizmo, I was just thinking the same thing! I was thinking how isolated I felt before I found this forum.

As per requested, the forum now has a "go to top" function that I'm happy with, that suits the Xenforo feel.

As you scroll into a post, after about the third post, or when you hit the foot for shorter posts, a small box will appear on the bottom right that you can click, and will take you back to the top of the page.

This way it covers all page lengths adequately.
