Sure, it was destined to happen again. I think were already in a cold war with the russians again. Maybe it really never ended. Either way were getting back into it in iraq, now the russsians will send in their advisors. Sounds familiar doesn't it.

ISIS has declared the Islamic State in part of Iraq and Syrie. They seem to have a firm hold in certain parts.
There is (in my mind) no way the western world is going to sit back and watch that happen.
Most Kurds are outraged as it's threatening the only piece in the world where they can be relatively safe.

So...who will unite with who and when will Iran try to grab power?
I won't be sleeping very well in the foreseeable future.
