So let me say something. You may face rejection, but never give up on your PTSD sufferers. It takes someone strong to love a combat vet who physically comes home but never mentally leaves the battlefield. Practice patience, resilience and flexibility and don't lose yourself while loving them, but never give up on them. They are already in essence, living in darkness, don't make the hell hotter by leaving them to endure it alone. We are an army of one, a family. Nobody is left behind.
