I freaking hate yoga
Are you taking a "class" or doing it on your own? I have been thinking I should look up some "heart" poses and do them on my own? Or better stretching. I like to run. Or solo activities. Hate the gym or any type of "class", but, I feel I should do more.

Meditation has been difficult although I feel it did save my life about 5 years ago. And then I let the practice wane. I have just subscribed to headspace and was going to try and give that a go. There is also this app called BellyBio that I use occasionally.

@Maroon731 I do a class that runs for 6 weeks each term. I struggle to walk in. It is usually 4-6 people and an amazing instructor. Only women. But my psydoc has been helping me understand when I don’t feel safe and how to talk myself through it. Even thinking about breathing makes me panic. BUT I can do full on exercise that HURTS no problem. I’ve been doing 30 min yoga practice plus my physio rehab exercises every morning for 2 weeks now. Little by little :)

Little by little :)

That's terrific, hope it helps. I know Yoga is an interesting practice. Maybe it will also fall into my 'counter-intuitive' practices of life: feels wrong but is right.

I'm not terribly logical thinking, but I research the crap out of everything. I think if I have enough information I can understand the bigger picture. It's a control thing I guess. It drives my t nuts. She's even banned me a couple times from researching certain topics because I can intellectulize a sunny day. She thinks it's a form of dissociation....distracting myself from how I feel via Google.

I do yoga at home and I like it but it's about the exercise and not the awareness. I dropped out of the trauma yoga class because it freaked me out so badly my service dog kept sitting on me. Not sure why I had that kind of reaction but ..... @MyWillow you are probably right that it was an indication that I needed it ...run away run away!
