Sufferer Introduction-finding Others That Can Relate

Does anybody else get butterflies or feel like their heart is going to fall out of their butt when typing out these introductions? May I also begin my introduction with 'I get nervous with these things.' I never really know what to put. Are you supposed to step outside your comfort zone and post something relate-able? We all do have at least one thing in common. Should I list pleasant things about myself, such as, 'I'm a good listener' or 'I like the beach.'?

Why I'm here- Sounds like a good place to start.

It's 5:00am. Which is a good time to attempt to sleep. I don't want to..Sometimes, I don't care to try. So, instead of sleeping I want to find a place where others can relate. I have been diagnosed, and it's been a whole year since I was. With time having passed, knowing what was wrong with me, I thought I would have moved on. I'm just kinda struggling.

Like I'm in a dark hole reaching up for help and I can't see what I'm reaching for or if there's anything there.

I'm not sure what I'm asking for yet. Though, it would be nice to get to know a few people on here.
:wtf: Also, I like the wide range of smileys available.

Welcome. There is a whole lot of useful information and helpful people here. And I have to say you are not alone with the butterflies about writing. I still get them!

Hey!
*waves*
I always like it when people give a really random fact as way of introduction, for instance, the skin on the outside of your elbow is called your wheanus :D

Welcome and congratulations for taking a first step at reaching out. There is no right or wrong to introductions. Just take your time and feel free to share what you want when you are ready....jump in any time.

Hi Nolen,

Introductions can be the hardest part of joining this forum. Take your time to post as you are comfortable.
