Is Bad Dream A Bad Sign?

I usually don't read into dreams, because I know they're just the result of random neurons firing off in the brain and so on and so forth, but last night I had a dream that is causing me to panic. I dreamed I had a miscarriage. It was very straightforward: a doctor put his hand on my forehead and told me I was burning up and had a fever. i stood up from next to him, and as I did, I noticed blood where I'd been sitting. The rest of the dream was me begging people around us to "save my baby", and there were pools of blood everywhere. This has really shaken me up. I thought I was safe since I'm now in the second trimester, but this makes me think I will really have a miscarriage.

Expect a few of those. Also the "I lost my baby" dreams... Where your baby is already born/not miscarriage but lost like you lose your keys... And you did something like put them in a drawer  Also the amnesia dreams, meeting your baby as a grown up (or toddler, or kiddo of some age) and wtf??? I can't remember how you got from infant to 22yo??? Also the ones where they're born and your get a platypus instead of a human. Pregnancy dreams? Tap into every fear, rational & irrational that you possibly have about parenting. ((To be fair, the platypus one came the same day I bought my "marsupial pack" aka/front loading baby carrier, so it wasn't quite as surreal as it could have been :p)) Miscarriage & lost/lost my baby? Are 2 of the most common pregnancy dreams out there. & just like your senses get really acute whilst pregnant? PregnancyDreams tend to be in some wild ass realism from hell. :wtf: Can be hard to shake.

A good heads up... When something's actually wrong? Both from personal experience & parenting land... That's the feeling. Something's wrong. Not fear, not anxiety, not hormonal spin outs, but just the sudden and complete knowledge that something's wrong. Which kinds sucks... Because until you've experienced it? The black and white difference between fear of something being wrong, and something actually being wrong, is hard to communicate. I use the rule of thumb: If I'm afraid? No worries.

This is such a touchy subject for me, and hard to respond too, but at this point, it wouldn't be a miscarriage, it would be a stillbirth.

That said, pregnancy causes more vivid dreams, and normal fears are going to play out in dreams. @FridayJones is totally right. When something does go wrong, you know without a doubt. You don't wonder, you just know. When people question you want to rip their heads off because you will know 100% that you know what you are talking about.
