I must say that I’m very optimistic about your situation in regards to a future between you and your vet. He is being open and honest with you, and staying in contact.

I must admit that this comment brought tears to my eyes. Perhaps it was a very much needed emotional release. But what you said means more to me than I can say because the few people in my life (aside from family) I have spoken to have told me to run for the hills and kick him to the curb. Needless to say I chose to kick them to the curb. Negative, toxic people make life so difficult. And then there are those like you and the others that have reached out to me. You don't know me aside from my words on a screen and yet you are so encouraging and supportive. It is truly amazing the power that words have.

Being a supporter is not easy, even under the best of circumstances.

Being a supporter is definitely not anything I'd ever been familiar with until this. And yes, it is very difficult. But the more I share and the more I speak to everyone, the more I realize that I truly am never alone in this and I have a support system outside of family that is willing to hear me out and share insight. I am amazed every time I read replies to what I have to say because of the wisdom, care, concern, and kindness that comes through. Thank you, again and again!!
