I've been taking the generic form of Wellbutrin for about 2 weeks now and although my ability to focus is 80% better I've been having some horribly intrusive flashbacks. They almost knock me right on my ass. I was at work and someone made a mess with a red pop and I almost vomited and felt like sobbing right there. I didn't but still. This hasn't happened to me in years where they've been this bad. I've been able just to numb myself to them. This one came on and I couldn't stop it. The feelings of terror and utter hopelessness lasted for the rest of the day. I almost want to stop taking it because the thought of having to deal with these and normal life seems almost impossible right now.

You should talk to your doctor about what you are experiencing, call and they can tell you to stop then if they think its necessary, or wean you off. Also tell them about your anger level, or anything like that. ( Restlessness for example), changes in moods or thoughts. Medication can do that.

Sometimes the meds take a bit of trial and error. I was put on ativan (??spelling) once and I completly bacame another person. The thoughts that were going on in my head, werent mine, and I almost did something that I wouldn't have been able to turn back from.

Meds work to treat chemical imbalances, but If they think they are treating one kind of imbalance and its actually another, some very adverse things can happen.

Talk to your doc. if the wellbutrin isnt working for you..
