After a few weeks of terrible nights, I have decided to crack open the valium. Last night, I slept ok, not great, but better.

Anyway, I wanted to know if by taking valium tonight after a heavy day of therapy, is it going to de value to therapy?

Any advice or experiences greatly appreciated.

I know that I need to process my therapy and sleep does help, but then does the valium stop the processing?

No, it won't affect anything with your therapy. If anything, you should try taking it prior to entering therapy itself, relaxing you to be more open and honest without feeling as fearful.

I was wondering the same thing - but the meds didn't take the feelings away - they just helped me eat and sleep and be present enough to even attempt exposure.

Counter-intuitive, but true.
